Goodwin Copper-Nickel
High-Grade Copper-Nickel in New Brunswick's Bathurst Mining Camp
Overview
Located 35 kilometers south of the Caribou mine in the BMC, has shown promising results with significant copper, nickel, and cobalt intercepts from 15 diamond drill holes completed in 2024. Key highlights include a 64.90-meter core interval grading 2.19% copper equivalent at the Granges zone, and a 60.60-meter interval grading 1.17% copper equivalent at the Farquharson zone.

Goodwin Drill Highlights
-
GW24-01 A 35 meter core interval grading 1.36% copper equivalent from 22.50 meters.
-
GW24-02 A 64.90 meter core interval grading 2.19% copper equivalent from 23.60 meters including 31.20 meters zone grading 3.84% copper equivalent.
-
GW-24-03 Cut a 60.60 meters grading 1.17% copper equivalent from 72.90 meters in the Farquharson nickel zone 900 meters to the southeast.

Hole GW24-01

-
Hole GW24-01 intersected a 34.55 meter copper-bearing core interval of pyrrhotite chalcopyrite mineralization from 23.60 to 59.40 meters. This includes an 8.50 meter core interval containing 50% pyrrhotite with 2% chalcopyrite.
-
Hole GW24-01 was drilled at a dip of 50 degrees at azimuth 060 to a depth of 80 meters.
Hole GW24-02

-
A 64.90 meter core interval grading 2.19% copper equivalent from 23.60 to 88.50 meters including 39.40 meters grading 3.36% copper equivalent.
-
GW24-02 was drilled from the same site as GW24-01 at a dip of 600 toward azimuth 0800 to a depth of 164 meters.
